Gastroenterologist is a specialist who consults about gastrointestinal disorders. In the medical practice “Alpino Pērle” a gastroenterologist consults patients with various gastrointestinal disorders in a rush-free environment. Abdominal ultrasonography can be performed right in the medical practice, if necessary. Additional tests can be performed in the clinic “Gaiļezers”. Gastroenterology covers a very large range of conditions, because it deals with all of the gastrointestinal system: the oesophagus, stomach, pancreas, liver and biliary ducts.
